We've been enjoying the first week of Summer Break with a pretty busy schedule. On Tuesday night we watched our AHL team - The Griffins - play & win the Calder Cup. That was an exciting game! Our boys have had a couple baseball games & basketball camp, so we will finally get out strawberry picking this morning. We've also had RAIN for the first time in weeks! So now I'm slowly pulling things together for our patio, but the biggest item will hopefully be installed on Tuesday... cross your fingers for me, please.

1 - Bright & White
Oh man - white background with pops of the rainbow. I'm loving Gwyneth Paltrow's pantry & playroom! The Home Edit's account on Instagram is full of more organizational inspiration.
2 - Dos & Don'ts of Artwork
I wrapped up a project on Wednesday with the installation of art & accessories. For all of the spaces I specified artwork, we changed nothing else - no new paint or furniture - just art. I love seeing how seemingly small additions bring a space alive! The number one mistake homeowners make when hanging artwork is that it is too high. Another mistake is the scale. People tend to choose too small of art or mirrors. I'm loving these tips below from Studio McGee!
3 - Navy Siding
I just started working a complete remodel of a small cottage-style home & I'm loving the navy siding seen here! Using a dark paint color can actually make a small house appear larger. I'm thinking board & batten siding, and we'll be adding a portico to the facade for some curb appeal.
4 - MORE Magnolia Home
Chip & Joanna are still everywhere - and for good reason. Their lines of pillows & rugs, furniture & accessories have popped up in multiple stores & the newest is Bed, Bath & Beyond. I'm loving this popcorn textured pillow! It's very bohemian farmhouse, if you ask me.
5 - Floral Wallpaper
Wallpaper is back & I'm loving the larger scaled floral prints! In a house full of boys, I'm not really sure where I could utilize this, though. I thought about the laundry room, but it's also our mud room AKA boys' locker room. I'll keep scheming... until then I'll just browse through the pretty!
